Burying all future power lines will curtail power outages from weather related events that have been occurring and increasing more freaquently. Additionally it will prevent us from destroying our eco system as well as preserve our property values and citizens health.
The health effects of living near high voltage power lines has been studied for decades. There are peer reviewed journal articles that span a wide range of available journals. I have isolated around 30 articles that are of interest and am just starting to do the necessary deep dive into methods and findings. What I currently have is just a beginning but I will continue until I can produce some sort of analytical summary. What I can say at this point is that I’ve learned a lot and the typical topics that one hears about are not exhaustive in scope or depth. I will continue to work on this project as I know it is of extreme concern to many of our citizens, as it should be.
